"The uniqueness of CL Design-Build is in the “team” of Cheryl and Brad. They are not just a home-builder, they handle the project from conception to closing. Cheryl met with us before we even had the ideas for our new home. She came to the existing house and asked questions like “How do you live? What do you like and dislike about the current house? Where do you see yourself in five years?” She was not only interested in the design, she wanted to know the budget and our “wish list”.
When it came to the plans she made sure every square inch of space was used efficiently. She suggested window seats, built in bookcases and bonus attic space. Cheryl also recommended the lookout basement and putting windows in the attic. She made sure our money was going as far as possible. Her construction knowledge and experience ensured that our home was designed and built with quality and that it was structurally sound.
Cheryl also added the unique touches that make the house so different. Her “theme” for our French Country home was an arch, which she continued through beams, windows, doorways, fireplace surrounds and bathtub platform. She acted as a decorator as well in our selection of stone, brick and textured surfaces. Her taste is impeccable.
Brad was the project manager for our home. He was there every day and took care of our home as if it was his home. He managed the trades, kept us posted on the progress and even did some of the work himself. He was in constant communication with us to ensure everything went as expected.
Brad was also there to supervise all deliveries and returns. If an incorrect window arrived, he quickly resolved the situation to keep us on track and he personally reviewed the billing to ensure that there was a credit for that incorrect item. The quality of materials and craftsmanship is second to none.
That teamwork between Brad and Cheryl ensured that we received the best that is available. There is a trust and bond between CL Design-Build and their clients that gave us peace of mind. The numerous compliments that we receive on our beautiful home are tremendous! We plan to have them design and build our retirement home."

We went through some other homes under construction yesterday and were amazed at how messy they were. Cheryl, your fine details in our home are absolutely wonderful. If you remember I did not want the family room ceiling you suggested for that 'extra touch' however; it is now my favorite thing in the entire house, with the pillars running second.
