CL Design-Build Presents.....The Washburn Residence We began construction on this 3535 s.f. European Cottage style custom home on Lot 183 in Whitetail Ridge Golf Community in Yorkville on January 2, 2008. Foundation work began on Friday, January 4. We did encounter a field tile while excavating and a very small amount of black dirt while preparing the footings. The foundation insulation was installed over the damp proofing on January 15 and the foundation passed inspection on January 17. Backfill took place on January 22 pending weather and frost conditions. First floor framing began on February 2 after the walk-out walls were framed and the steel was set. Framing should last about 4 to 6 weeks due to weather conditions. With weather delays we began to install the roof shingles on March 14. The windows were delivered and installed on March 14 as well. The well was drilled on March 24 and the rough plumbing began March 26. Rough HVAC started on April 1 followed by rough electrical on April 8. Low voltage can begin at any time and must be complete by April 17 when we expect to have our rough inspection.                    |
